AIMAX® enables the fast, secure and scalable integration of innovative AI agents and RPA functionality into your existing business processes.
Enquiries from employees and/or customer enquiries can be submitted to AIMAX® via a wide variety of channels (e.g. Microsoft Teams, email, Zendesk, WhatsApp, Signal Messenger, etc.). These enquiries are then processed and answered by different AI models – including locally – depending on the context.
To provide answers, the AIMAX® AI agents can also draw on internal company knowledge and up-to-date data. The artificial intelligence receives only the information it actually needs, enabling it to generate better results.
The key feature here is that AIMAX® can interface with any other specialist software to fulfil the tasks assigned to it – either via an existing API or our RPA solution, EMMA.

AIMAX® includes granular access control lists (ACLs) for agents, data and interfaces.
You determine:
- who is permitted to use which agents
- who gains access to which data via artificial intelligence
- who is permitted to access which interfaces using the agents

Although AIMAX® uses a centralised AI solution, every user naturally has their own personalised context and can choose for themselves the language, tone or style in which they wish to interact with the AI.
Traceability
The integrated decision log allows you to determine at any time on the basis of what information, in what context, and by which employee or agent a decision was made.
Browser user agent
AIMAX® is not limited to the expertise included in the respective model and additionally assigned.
The integrated browser agent can also search the internet for further information. If necessary, it uses Google to find a page and is also able to dismiss cookie banners.
Tool builder and no-code REST API connector
AIMAX® provides you with a tool builder featuring around 500 modules and connectors out of the box for orchestrating complex workflows. For example, you can easily have AI results checked by a second AI (Second Revisor) or combine generative AI with deterministic RPA processes.
You decide for yourself how, when and on what event such a workflow should be triggered (event-based triggering – e.g. by time, email receipt, data change, etc.).
The REST API connector integrated into AIMAX® allows external applications to be connected via the REST interface in just a few clicks and without any programming knowledge.
Human-in-the-loop
With the integrated human-in-the-loop mode, you can specify which processes require manual checking and review of the AI results.
Furthermore, when using cloud-based AI models, prior approval from the user can be required.
Context engineering
The quality of the results for a task handed over to AI depends on more than just the prompt. Naturally, you must also provide the AI with the information it needs to answer the question.
However, if you provide the AI with too much irrelevant information, the result will suffer as a consequence.
The context engineering functionality integrated into AIMAX® reduces the context to the essentials, thereby increasing the reliability of good results.
Subject-specific agents
Define any agents or experts who will carry out the tasks assigned to them on your behalf.
Assign a specific role or behaviour to the agent, set clear boundaries and define when the agent should be deployed.
Finally, you determine the tools available to the agent and grant access to the specific expertise.
Multimodal knowledge cache
The integrated knowledge cache can store information in a wide variety of formats. In addition to PDFs, Office documents, images and numerous other file formats, this also includes the contents of email inboxes, intranet pages and, for example, FAQ collections.
This knowledge is available to your employees when using the AI – naturally, subject to their respective roles and permissions.

Although it may surprise you, we haven’t ended up with NVIDIA here, but rather with devices from Apple. In addition to the enterprise functionality described, the provider version of AIMAX® also offers multi-tenancy combined with licence management. The tenant nodes are operated in a typical Linux-based hosting environment and can thus benefit from basic technical infrastructure solutions that are well-established in the provider sector.

This ensures that your sensitive information does not need to be transmitted over the internet, thereby minimising the risk of data leaks and unauthorised access. Furthermore, AIMAX® operates on the principle of data minimisation, processing only the information necessary to complete your tasks. This helps our customers meet the strict requirements of the GDPR whilst benefiting from the advantages of a powerful AI solution.

Data minimisation! How clever is that?!
AIMAX® Knowledge Safe technology allows you to integrate your own specific data without directly sharing it with the AI models used.
Instead, AIMAX® selects the data fragments required for each query in a context-sensitive manner, in accordance with the principle of data minimisation. This enhances data security – regardless of whether you use the Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service or a local AI model – both options are available to you through us.
SaaS providers or on-premises AI – the choice is yours!
The AIMAX® AI infrastructure solution gives you the choice: you can use a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider such as OpenAI, or a local AI model that can be run entirely offline.
However, even when using a Software-as-a-Service provider, GDPR-compliant use is possible. For example, OpenAI’s AI models can also be used within the isolated Microsoft Azure cloud environment and under an AV agreement. If you use Microsoft Office 365 or Microsoft Teams, you are already active in this environment and have already concluded the Microsoft Azure AV agreement.
Of course, we also offer AIMAX® based on a local AI model. In this case, the AI agent requires no internet access whatsoever. It should be noted, however, that in this scenario the Internet Research feature is consequently not available.
Whether you use the local or the Microsoft Azure-based AI model, your data will not be used for training the models.

What is an AI agent?
This is a software solution that interacts with its environment using artificial intelligence. It is characterised by the following features:

I use Microsoft Copilot. How does it differ from AIMAX?
AIMAX® is a German product that has been developed independently of any specific technology.
This means you are free to choose your preferred AI model. We would be happy to make recommendations based on your specific applications. AIMAX® can even switch between AI models as required.
What’s more, with AIMAX® you can also work entirely locally by selecting a suitable model – ensuring the highest level of data security.
However, the AIMAX® AI infrastructure solution goes far beyond the scope of Copilot. It provides a secure foundation for your company’s AI strategy.
Do I need EMMA to use AIMAX?
No, the cognitive AI EMMA is not required to use AIMAX®.
However, EMMA greatly enhances the benefits of the AI agent. This enables AIMAX® to utilise any existing programme to achieve the desired objective.
In other words, the possibilities arising from the combination of EMMA and AIMAX® are many times greater than when using just one of the solutions.
What sets AIMAX apart from nele.ai?
AIMAX® (and EMMA too) integrate seamlessly into your existing processes. This means you can utilise their AI and RPA capabilities exactly where you need them. This eliminates the need for tedious copying and pasting of text.
